Youssou N'Dour and Ryuichi Sakamoto - a meeting of two musical giants

The internationally-acclaimed Senegalese composer/musician Youssou N'Dour (arguably one of the most celebrated African artistes in modern times) and the famed Japanese composer/musician Ryuichi Sakamoto (composer of many movie soundtracks, including the soundtrack for Gohatto) had two musical collaborations:

The first being Diabaram (Music: Youssou N'Dour and Ryuichi Sakamoto, Lyrics: Youssou N'Dour) in Sakamoto's 1989 album Beauty.
The second being Borom Gal (music: Sakamoto/Youssou N'Dour; lyrics/vocals: Youssou N'dour) from Sakamoto's 1991/1992 album Heartbeat.
