  1. If certain media organizations have covered the issue you are concerned about in the past, even as a small story, write to them thanking them for their coverage; tell them how much you appreciate the reports and that you would like to see more of them.

    If you know of newspapers, radio programs, etc. which have not covered the issue of your concern, write them asking them to do so.

    Some addresses of new programs:

    Snowhawk has kindly provided an extensive and diverse list of news sources and organizations you can contact. Each Website has an e-mail address to contact them, or you can use news with their domain name. (like for Foxnews: email would be news@foxnews.com )

  2. Write to local community papers which may be interested in covering such issues. e.g. African/American, Asian/American newspapers.

  3. Write to your elected officials
